On November 10, 2021, the my country Association of Automobile Manufacturers' November data release conference was held in Beijing. The my country Automobile Power Li-ion Battery Industry Innovation Alliance announced the monthly data of power lithium-ion batteries for October 2021.
In terms of output, in October 2021, my country's power lithium-ion battery output totaled 25.1GWh, a year-on-year increase of 191.6 percent and a month-on-month increase of 8.4 percent . Among them, the output of ternary batteries was 9.2GWh, accounting for 36.6 percent of the total output, an increase of 93.5 percent year-on-year and a decrease of 4.5 percent month-on-month; the output of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 15.9GWh, accounting for 63.3 percent of the total output, an increase of 314.0 percent year{{30}}on-year and a month-on-month increase of 17.6 percent . From January to October, my country's power lithium-ion battery output accumulated to 159.8GWh, a year-on{{40}}year increase of 250.0 percent . Among them, the cumulative output of ternary batteries was 72.0GWh, accounting for 45.1 percent of the total output, a cumulative increase of 165.0 percent year-on-year; the cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 87.5Wh, accounting for 54.8 percent of the total output, a cumulative increase of 378.2 percent year-on-year.
In terms of vehicle loading, in October 2021, my country's power lithium-ion battery loading capacity was 15.4GWh, a year-on-year increase of 162.8 percent and a month-on-month decrease of 1.8 percent . Among them, the total loading of ternary batteries was 7.0GWh, a year-on-year increase of 104.3 percent and a month-on-month increase of 13.5 percent ; the total loading of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 8.4GWh, a year-on-year increase of 249.5 percent and a month-on-month decrease of 11.6 percent . From January to October, the total installed capacity of power lithium-ion batteries in my country was 107.5GWh, a year-on-year increase of 168.1 percent . Among them, the cumulative installed capacity of ternary batteries was 54.1GWh, accounting for 50.3 percent of the total installed capacity, a cumulative increase of 100.1 percent year-on-year; the cumulative installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 53.2GWh, accounting for 49.5 percent of the total installed capacity, a cumulative increase of 316.4 percent year-on-year.
In October 2021, a total of 39 power lithium-ion battery companies in my country's new energy vehicle market achieved vehicle installation, an increase of 2 compared with the same period last year. The top 3, top 5, and top 10 power lithium-ion battery companies have installed 11.6GWh, 12.9GWh and 14.3GWh of vehicles, accounting for 75.5 percent , 83.6 percent and 92.9 percent of the total installed capacity, respectively. From January to October, a total of 54 power lithium-ion battery companies in my country's new energy vehicle market achieved vehicle installation, 11 less than the same period last year, ranking the top 3, top 5, and top 10 power lithium-ion battery companies. The battery installed capacity was 78.8GWh, 89.4GWh and 98.6GWh, accounting for 73.3 percent , 83.2 percent and 91.8 percent of the total installed capacity, respectively.
